I used to think people matured with age, but I quickly found out I was wrong. Up until recently though, I was pretty convinced that kids in high school weren't as cruel as they were in middle school. I get to school around 7:50 everyday, and I enjoy a nice breakfast sandwich. There's this one kid who comes down to the senior lockers, he must be in like tenth grade, and he's definitely different. So anyways, people just laugh at him. They sit with him and talk to him and when he turns away they laugh to their friends. They probably even laugh to his face and he mistakes it for genuine laughter, and then they laugh at him for laughing with them when they're actually laughing at him. I'm not sure why it bothers me so much, because I know that I laugh at people too. But I think people should draw the line somewhere. I just think it's wrong to be so fake to someone, and then laugh when they walk away. Especially when the person can't help themselves. I just think it's about time people tried maybe having a personality instead of being assholes and making fun of people to gain brownie points with their friends.
Wanna know something cool? You can have fun and still have a soul. Good luck everyone!
p.s. sorry if I offended anyone. just kidding.

I know what you mean. Apparently it doesn't get better even after high school. I've met way too many older people who are still intensely superficial. It's kind of sad.
